1982 Squier Precision Bass '57 Reissue, sunburst. Made in Japan, serial number JV15587. This Export version JV Series bass is mostly original. It came to us with a wrong pickguard and we sourced an original JV single ply pickguard that is a wonderful fit. The bass had a refret and three extra holes underneath the pickguard from a previous pickguard and thumbrest. The electronics were rewired. The knobs are from the same era but not the correct type for this model. The neck has the rare early version 9.5" fretboard radius and is made out of a very nicely figured piece of maple. Weighs only 3.8kg!
